The ethos of Wetherby can be summed up in the phrase 'Care, Share and be Fair' and we have high expectations of the entire community.  The emphasis is always on acknowledging the positive and the boys can earn stars, headteachers awards, Wetherby special mentions etc. for exemplary standards of manners, behaviour and general respect for each other.

The boys take pride in wearing the Wetherby uniform and understand the importance of being a Wetherby Ambassador both in and out of school.

Every boy also does his best to follow the Wetherby Golden Rules and there is a weekly school target to follow which is often related to these rules.  The class that works hardest at the target is presented with a rosette in assembly.

The PSHE programme also reinforces these good attitudes and behaviours from Reception through to Year 3.

Mutual co-operation, respect for property, respect for our environment and above all, each other, are essential to our happiness.
