Expeditions & Trips

Wetherby School places high value on the place and purpose of Educational Visits.  At Wetherby we believe that every young person should experience the world beyond the classroom as an essential part of learning and personal development, whatever their age, ability or circumstances. 

At Wetherby we aim to enhance the first-hand experiences of all children by providing opportunities for day and residential visits.  During their time at Wetherby the boys will participate in a variety of visits such as Kew Gardens, Hampton Court, the Science Museum, HMS Belfast and the list goes on.  In Year 3 the boys visit Marchant's Hill in Surrey for a three day and two night residential visit.  This is really something that the boys look forward to. 

Reception thoroughly enjoy their trips each year and visit the Tower of London and Woburn Safari Park.  At Christmas they also enjoy the pantomime.
