WELCOME TO WETHERBY SCHOOL
Mark Snell started at Wetherby in September 2005 as Deputy Head and was then appointed Headmaster in September 2008. Previously he worked at Eaton House The Manor, Westminster Under and then King’s College Junior School Wimbledon, where he was Head of Mathematics for 5 years. Mr Snell studied Business Studies at the University of Westminster before completing his PGCE at Brighton University. He is married with two children and his wife, Sue, teaches Mathematics at King’s College Wimbledon and is a former Olympic rower. Mark’s wider family own Mowden School in Brighton and Ludgrove in Berkshire.
The adopted motto of Wetherby School is ‘Care, Share and be Fair’. These are the underlying principles of all that we stand for at Wetherby. Every boy is encouraged to be the best that he can be and every member of staff is committed to enabling each individual to fulfil his potential and achieve his goal. The school is a happy and vibrant one, an energetic and forward learning environment, whilst retaining the best of educational traditions.
