Wetherby School's 60th Celebrations for Alumni and Former Parents

Wetherby School has certainly taken advantage of being sixty this year! After the Wetherby boys celebrated the school’s birthday with a garden party there was another special celebration just around the corner.

On 3rd November the school opened the famous red doors to alumni and former parents. This was such a memorable occasion for everyone. There were old boys and former parents from the past sixty years who all came together to share their memories of their time at Wetherby. Some had never visited the school since it moved from Wetherby Place to Pembridge Square. It was absolutely wonderful to listen to the memories that the alumni and former parents had of their time at the school.

The school was decorated to mark this wonderful occasion. Drinks and canapés were served to the guests and special tours of the school were given by current Wetherby boys. The boys took their role seriously and were true Wetherby Ambassadors. Once again there was a tiered birthday cake and the oldest ‘old boy’ present at the party, Mr Schwabach, cut the cake.

A fantastic evening was had by all and we celebrated in true Wetherby style. Roll on the next sixty years!
