Last Friday, we opened the red Wetherby doors to hundreds of grandparents, many of whom had flown across the globe for this special day! At both Pembridge Villas and Pembridge Square, grandparents were welcomed with tea and scones before having the opportunity to visit their grandsons’ classrooms. It is always a heart-warming sight to see so many little boys proudly sharing their work to their grandparents and having the chance to show them around their school. For many of the younger boys, this is the first chance that they have had to show off their ‘new’ school and to be a real Wetherby Ambassador. As ever, there was a fantastic buzz in both buildings and the many happy faces (of both boys and grandparents) paid testament to the importance of this day on our school calendar. We would like to thank all of those who came to visit from near and far – you are a special part of the Wetherby community and we love having the opportunity to share the boys’ successes with you.
