Harvest Festival is a celebration of the food grown on the land. Thanksgiving ceremonies and celebrations for a successful harvest are both worldwide and very ancient. In Britain, we have given thanks for successful harvests since pagan times, usually during September.
The Wetherby School community have collected generously for the local St Matthew’s Church Food Bank and the charities In Deep and the Salvation Army. Well done to all the boys for carrying their donations into school today!
