This year, the focus of Independent School Parent magazine’s prestigious awards was Resilience. Dr Helen Wright and the judging panel, which included heads of prominent schools, representatives from educational associations, and sector journalists, called for examples of positive, credible and inspiring stories of resilience from the front line. We posited our demonstration of these values in practice, and are delighted that it was applauded by the experts among a highly competitive field of entries.

- Our personalised learning journey tracks students’ progress to ensure we understand their baseline and can build on their knowledge and skills. 87% of pupils are working above average in mathematics and 66% of pupils are exceeding. ⁣

- A focus on our wellbeing programme, introducing work around zones of regulation, the Edward De Bono Six Thinking Hats, school counsellor available for pupils, staff and parents. ⁣

- Winner of 2x Talk Education Awards, Top 250 Prep schools and Entrepreneurship and Business Gold Award 2025 ⁣

- Entrepreneurship project in Year 3 challenging pupils to create their own business and present it to teachers in Dragon’s Den-style pitch. They sell their wares at annual Makers’ Market, open to parent community and all proceeds donated to charity. ⁣
