Charities

At Wetherby School, we support many charities and hold numerous charity events over the academic year. We invite speakers from selected charities to deliver a talk at the school and inspire boys by providing a clear understanding of the work they do. Details of the organisation and the date of the talk will be publicised in advance.

In Years 2 and 3, one boy from each class is chosen to be a Charity Ambassador. These boys actively contribute to the charity programme by suggesting organisations they would like to support, helping organise related events, and leading assemblies to provide feedback on their work.

Wetherby School Bursary Fund Appeal

Attending Wetherby School is an extraordinary experience. We are immensely proud of the opportunities and experiences offered at the school, which have helped shape and transform the lives of so many boys over the years.

Over the last few years, we have worked as a community to develop the Bursary Fund, which is an essential safety net for parents of current students who have unexpectedly fallen into financial or personal difficulty

This year, we are re-launching the Bursary Appeal. We plan to raise funds to support at least one additional pupil on a full bursary each year while also establishing a significant endowment fund. If you would like to find out more about the school's Bursary Appeal, you can download the Appeal Booklet below.
