Year 3 Football v Garden House
Wetherby did not put a foot wrong all afternoon as they ran riot at the Westway! The Dragons scored in each half to win 2-0 with their goals coming from Alex and Leo. The All Blacks dominated as they won 6-0 with Alex scoring 4 and Oliver adding 2.
It was the same result for the Springboks as Yoshi and Raphael both grabbed 2 each and Asker and Kieran adding the 5th and 6th. Man of the match Adam scored 4 for the Wallabies as they won 4-0 and the Pumas put on a fantastic display as they won 2-0 with both goals coming from man of the match Max.
Over the 5 matches Wetherby scored 20 and conceded 0!
Year 3 Football v Eaton House
The Dragons dictated much of the play as Alex was in the right place at the right time and broke the deadlock. Soon after, Will scored 2 in as many minutes as they went into the break 3-0 up. Will grabbed his hat trick midway through the second half but some very poor defending saw the home team concede 2 goals against the run of play. Despite the defensive errors, John restored the faith and scored a 30 yard screamer, a cert for goal of the season. Alex rounded things off with another cool finish as the Dragons won 6-2.
The All Blacks were involved in an extremely close game as they came from a goal behind with their goal coming from in-form striker Alex as the game finished 1-1. The Springboks were unlucky not to come away with a win as they drew 0-0, the Wallabies lost 1-0 but the Pumas recorded a 4-1 win with their goals coming from Rishi and Casper who both scored 2!
